THE BEAR NECESSITIES
STEP 1: GET GRINDING
Measure 17 grams of Two Bears coffee and grind it to a medium-fine setting (think table salt).
STEP 2: PRIME THE PRESS
Place plunger in the bottom of Aeropress cylinder and stand straight up, with the end for filter attachment facing upward.
Place the AeroPress filter in the basket. Preheat the body of the AeroPress and rinse the filter with hot water.
STEP 3: START THE BREW
Start the timer and add 220 grams of 96 °C water to the cylinder, make sure to wet all the grounds. Add filter attachment to top of Aeropress.
STEP 4: PLUNGE
AT 1:15 Flip the entire thing over, so it’s sitting filter-side down on your drinking vessel. Slowly and evenly press down on the plunger until you first hear air escaping the Aeropress.
STEP 5: ENJOY!
